Code of Conduct
Every member agrees to this when they join. It is short on purpose — a rulebook nobody reads protects nobody.
-
Play to win, lose like an adult
Try hard. Take the game seriously. But when it goes badly — and it will — no rage quitting, no throwing, no blaming the teammate who is already having the worst round of their life. "Good game" costs nothing.
-
No slurs, no harassment, ever
Racist, sexist, homophobic and transphobic language is not banter and it is not edgy. It gets you removed, first offence, no debate. The same goes for sexual harassment, targeted pile-ons, and following someone across platforms to keep at them.
-
Criticism goes forward, not down
Telling someone what to do differently next round is coaching. Telling them they are worthless is not. If you cannot phrase it as something actionable, keep it to yourself until the game ends.
-
Everyone gets the same welcome
New players, returning players, women in voice chat, people whose first language is not yours — all get the same patience you would want on your first night. Gatekeeping is not a personality.
-
What happens in Discord stays in Discord
Do not screenshot private channels into public places. Do not share anyone's real name, location, or anything else they told you in confidence. If someone leaves the group, they do not become a punchline.
-
Represent the badge
When you are wearing Cadorks colours in a public lobby or on stream, you are the whole community to everyone watching. Behave like it. This matters most when the other team is being awful — that is exactly when the difference shows.
-
Speak up, and we will act
If something crosses a line, tell a mod or the Founder. Reports are handled privately and we will tell you what came of it. Retaliating against someone for reporting is treated as seriously as the original problem.
How this is enforced
Most problems are a quiet word and that is the end of it. Repeated issues get a formal warning. Slurs, harassment and retaliation skip straight to removal. We would rather lose a good player than keep someone who makes everyone else dread logging on.
Reporting something
Message any mod or the Founder directly — in Discord or by email. You do not need proof or a perfectly worded case; tell us what happened and we will look into it. Nothing is shared with the person you are reporting without talking to you first.
Still sounds like your kind of crew?
Good. That reaction is most of what we are looking for.
